Jan, have you ever considered asking the OD staff to promote your research into the front page of the site? Obviously you've put (and continue to put) a lot of time into this -- and from what I've been reading from this topic so far, you make a lot of great points. I believe in the logic of percentages because I know there is no such thing as perfect research. So I say the percentage of good points in your research is high, in my honest opinion.
Also since now that I mention percentages, the basis of any propaganda's effect revolves around repetition. If a program is repeated enough times, it will become pervasive and sometimes even invisible to the naked eye and conscious mind; for it has become a sort of norm. Hence when people are conditioned by something, they are no longer consciously aware of it. They automatically perceive it as their everyday reality at a subconscious level and therefore predictably behave according to that particular program.
Notes:
gram = gramma = message
pro = for / forth = favor
pag / pago / paganda = pangere = to fasten / to establish / to repeat
Program = to favor a message ; Propaganda = to fasten forth
Program = Propaganda = to fasten forth a message / to establish forth a message (to repeat forth a message)

I think we already have. I'd rather not have people requesting this, at least in the open forum. I may put it up again once I get online at home again.

Woops my bad. I have not been paying attention to the site too much. It kind of shows you how out of touch I am with the current site lol . Plus the sheer beauty of your avatar played a monumental role in distracting me.

An excerpt:
Immediately following September 11 2001, the media began their barrage of showing us various footages of disintegrating WTC towers, over and over again, ad nauseum. Those who have watched ID thus have had ample opportunity to recognize the destructive real life events being similar to the fictional ones as portrayed in the movie. Thus, by virtue of this kind of recognition and familiarity gained from fictional imprinting, the witness is led into accepting a context of response similar to the one as presented in ID. In the movie, a clear identification is made of the enemy and a clear distinction is made between forces of good, that being the world in general and the US in particular, and forces of evil, that being the alien invader from outer space.
So when the real attacks happened, those who have watched ID are inclined to also adopt this dichotomous and uncompromisingly gung-ho mindset of good vs evil. This type of response was further reinforced when the government, most notably Bush himself, immediately following the terror attacks began to spur the public into immediately start thinking in purely black and white terms of good versus evil. That this technique of moral coercion left no room or time for careful and honest deliberation and reflection became dramatically clear with slogans such as, “you are either with us or you’re with the terrorists.”

Thanks for the compliments and recommendation my friend.

Very perceptive! Indeed repetition is the key to learning in general. It's by virtue of how the brain works. Neural pathways that correspond to some kind of element of cognition (thought, memory, etc.) or behavior (neural correlates) are trained and enforced by sheer repetition.
As such, by way of the workings of our brain, the power of propaganda lies in part in its repetitiveness. The same goes for advertisement. Paradoxically unfortunately, the truth of some arbitrary thing, in contra-distinction, ordinarily gets a lot less "airtime" and is rarely repeated to the extent as propaganda is. It goes to show the level of psycho-spiritual pathology the human family finds itself in.

NB: Due to Google Video categorically denying me to upload this particular video (the other preceding two parts were accepted without problems) I was forced to resort to finding an alternative upload facility. Hence I came across Revver. To suit Revver standards I was forced to cut the video into 9 subparts. The videos can be accessed by clicking on the associated thumbnails.

The Dark Knight tells us that surveillance is a good thing when our enemies are vile enough. to catch the joker they had a system that tapped all frequencies and all mobile devices.
and supposedly once they caught him they were going to get rid of the technology or just stop using it.
but i doubt that anyone in real life making decisions for us would be as reasonable as morgan freeman

Appleseed... 1 and 2
Another highly entertaining piece of work from the Japanese who are more open to putting things in your face.
I love Japanese Animation, and the info that they cram into the their anime is simply amazing...
I'm sure they are much more clued up to what the future society will be like...
Set in 2131 AD, Appleseed stars Deunan Knute, a young, legendary female soldier and a survivor of the Third World War, which brought Earth to the brink of destruction. While fighting a number of unknown figures, a platoon of tall, white-armoured soldiers comes up and shoots them. As she tries to run away, they tranquilize her. Deunan later wakes up attached to a scanning device. Alarmed, she breaks free and takes a woman hostage while she attempts to escape, only to be stopped by the voice of her former lover and comrade Briareos, who is now a mechanical cyborg. Deunan soon learns that the war had ended months before while she continued fighting unknowing of this, and she is now in a Utopian city called Olympus. Its population is half human and half clone, a genetically-engineered species called Bioroids made from the best technical components. Olympus is governed by three factions: Prime Minister Athena (whom Deunan seems to know), General Edward Uranus III, head of the Olympus Regular Army; and the Council of Elders -- seven old men hooked up to life support and anti-gravity chairs. Yet everything in the city is observed by an artificial intelligence named Gaia, which resides in a building called Tartarus. Here, Deunan integrates into the prestigious ESWAT organization to serve as the city's guardian and befriends a Second Generation Bioroid named Hitomi.
The Original Bioroids were created from the DNA of Deunan's father, Carl, making the Second Generation Bioroids her brothers and sisters, genetically speaking. Unfortunately, they have a lifespan much shorter than those of humans due to the suppression of their reproductive capabilities. When the facilities that were used in the Bioroid's life extension processes are destroyed by a secret faction of the Olympus Regular Army in a terrorist attack as part of its demonstration of fear and hatred for the Bioroids, a crisis which requires immediate resolution is formed, and the Appleseed data is revealed to still exist, even though most thought it destroyed.
The year is 1866. It's the eve of the World Expo, a technological showcase in Victorian England. Ray Steam, a mechanically-inclined lad living in London, is caught in a maelstrom of danger when a mysterious package containing the enigmatic Steam Ball is sent to his house courtesy of his grandfather, Lloyd. Lloyd is desperate to keep the Steam Ball out of the hands of the O'Hara Foundation, a colossal enterprise dedicated to technological progress headed up by a mysterious figure who's connected to Ray in more ways than one. They need the Steam Ball to power a mechanical monster unlike anything the world has ever seen…and it's up to Ray to stop them!
