It helps to keep the information consolidated, which I think is a good idea. The info is in one place as much as possible. But this is not perfect. My turn: It sucks when you do a search and it doesn't find a previously existing thread, not due to user error, and you post a duplicate thread...

This is why I implemented a Google site search at the bottom of the forum. The normal search feature had to be optimized to reduce cpu load on the shared server by ignoring commonly used words. The Google site search is quite good especially for older posts, and it includes vlog posts, and resource pages.
Considering we don't beg, demand, or even take donations, and I'm not some celebrity, I think the forum is operating very well. I don't think many of you realize how many hours I've put in optimizing the code, dealing with errors, adding features, and advertising for pennies to the hour so we could have it this good. Lately the whole site generates less than $1 a day while it costs $6.95/ mo.
I hope when you post a dupe, and it's dealt with that you can take it lightly. My hope is that people will come up with more original articles and topics like TotalitarianTipToe, edisme, and Truthseeker have.
One thing I'm trying to prevent is a mess like they have at the official David Icke forum. For example: Every time a supposed cancer cure is discovered by someone it gets a new thread of it's own with a bunch of ignorant replies even if it's been posted in better detail before, or better solutions have been posted. It's not only bad for readers, it's more overhead for the server. Posters should recognize the site as a resource, and not just a place to dump articles from other resources.
We're different, and I hope people can see how that's better. I'm more concerned about readership, credibility, and low cost, than how many people we have posting (authoring). Some forums beg and demand people to post often. I would rather have a few quality posters, and more readers. I think chat would suit some people better if they'd use it. Use the thread that it's in to let people know when you're available. Chat can be more addicting than forums. I'm working 3 other jobs lately. I can't say when I'll be available, but if I see someone will be on: I'd much more likely try to be there.
This site is organized much better than any other site I've seen that deals with similar topics. I like the way similar information gets consolidated into one thread, makes it much easier to find what you're looking for.

Check for a delete button. If you can only edit, just edit the text to notify an admin to delete the thread for you. Or send a PM to an admin to the same effect. Most of us check through here every day.

What, you're not famous yet? Yeah, I think the site is doing pretty well. I code VB at work as one of my job functions.
