Are you aware that the majority of education is really indoctrination?
There are teachers out there that really care. But what's happened to them is they went to university. They were taught by someone else, who was ruled via a schoolboard/dean/board of directors. That caring gets tossed out the window when caught up in red tape. Their hands are tied. They are forced to put up with the system or be out of a job.
These groups that run schools do not have any students' best interests at heart. They never have. Modern schools are no different than secret societies. You learn what they want you to learn, and no more. If you show promise, you might get to learn more.... but at great expense. And I'm not talking about money.
So, here's the cycle. You have teachers teaching students what they were taught. There is a curriculum... what someone else tells them to teach. If the teacher steps out of these boundaries, they are severely punished by any and all means necessary. Look what's happened to the Evolution/Creation debate! It's been going on for a loooooooong time.
These students grow up and decide whether to continue their "education" or to just live out the remainder of their lives in the workforce. Some of these students then become teachers themselves. Once again, being indoctrinated by another teacher, and then just repeats what he/she is told.
This goes on and on and on. But what's really sad is the limits placed on education become only more severe as time passes. Students today learn less and less. This applies to all fields.
I think my great grandmother and grandmother had more knowledge than most kids today. I learned so much from those old ladies that I NEVER EVER heard in school. Just for a cheesy example, watch Jay Leno when he does his "Jaywalking" routine. You'll see just how stupid and uneducated people are in the Western world. And yes, this includes Austrailia, who isn't innocent in any regard. Are you aware that your government now owns land in the states? A turnpike... and they are going to be making a lot of money from it. We'll be seeing a lot more come from Austrailia's government in future, I predict. You still have the Queen mum on your money, as does Canada. No country that was ever in a public rule under Britian has ever really separated in my opinion and this includes the states as well. But that's an entire discussion in itself.
So don't go bragging about your education. You were just as indoctrinated as everyone else out there. What might set you apart from the rest is that you profess to read. I salute you for that effort. But all in all education/indoctrination means nada.
In school, if you learn to repeat by putting the "correct" answers on tests, you get to move forward in "education." If you do not comply, you're held back, labeled with a learning disability and socially put down. If you do comply, then you're a good little record player who can repeat with zeal and will thus appear to advance. And with an array of alphabetical arrangements behind a name after graduation, students become "experts." lol
"Educated" people become no more than a record player, able to repeat everything they were taught with accuracy. And when challenged, they become angry and turn Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde. Everything else just gets tossed away as if worthless.
Since you like reading, go read this... the entire book is there.
Oh and you should look into Star Wars. Listen to the dialog, the phrasing. Look at the symbolism they have in those movies. It's not just entertainment.
Research who makes those movies. Listen to what they say. Read their interviews.
All is not as it seems.

Only since indoctination was deemed necessary ... I was educated before that occurred.

How lucky for me that I learned before the modern schools came into being. My education began in 1945 and ceased in 1955 at age 14. I began my own reseach after that, enhanced by personal experience, observation, and having good comprehension skills.

The debate on this forum or in the real world? I believe in both creation and evolution, one cannot exist without the other.

Most of what I have learned over 66 years has been learned 'out of school'. I began preschool in 1945 and kindergarten in 1946.

How naive you are, to assume so much about me and my education, (and even my country), I wasn't bragging just being accurate, English was the most important of all subjects at the time I was educated. You only know what someone else has taught you about my country, I doubt you have ever actually spoken to an Aussie.
Indoctrination had an entirely different meaning when I went to school. Reading, writing, and Arithmetic was the main part of my education, (plus all the offshoots such as 'comprehension', 'penmanship', and Geometry and Algebra), to a lesser degree we studied Geography, His Story (mostly modern history, if you can call pre 1940s modern lol), basic Science, and in my last year I studied Latin (which I failed)

We've just had a Senate inquiry into schools passing students when they haven't passed their exams ... parents are up in arms for the practice of sending them into the next grade 'without' the proper 'passes' and thereby having no hope of 'catching up' or going on to a university degree.

I actually agree with you here ... but you make the mistake of assuming I am 'educated' to that degree ... I'm not, far from it. As I have stated before, and even before this thread, I learned in the school of life, not from a formal education. English being the exception, as that was standard in my school years.

I was born 4 years, 2 months and 4 days before Formenko, and I already came to the conclusions about history, the bible, Jesus etc that he talks about in the book, before it was even written. But I thank you for passing it on as I will read it just for the pleasure of reading something that gels with my beliefs about his story and proves my take on religion.

Not exactly what I wrote but it means the same thing ... You can't beat the truth and there are not a lot of ways to express that particular truth. Even the Elite have to appear honest to maintain their control, and what better way than to say it in a way that it can't be refuted.
However I can see the funny side of that particular portion ... and I will take it on board and watch the movie, if it is still available in the video rentals. There may be some more expressions I can use.
But I'm saddened that you too have decided to join the fray, and see me in the same light as my detractors do. Did I offend you too? Or was it learning my age? ... So many others seem to take it as an affront to their level of learning, that I have to wonder?
Listen no one like a know it all. I'm sure at your ripe age you probably have a lot of knowledge to share. The problem is when ego and a condescending nature get in the way of conveying information.
I personally don't hate anyone. Even the father who abandoned me. I don't dwell on it because humanity is more important than thinking about one person, regardless if he gave me life or not.
Perhaps you should go back to those threads and see why so many were turning against you. Believe me it was more than just circumcision people were pissed at you about.
