audio editing software
so i am looking for a freeware program that does what soundforge does.
i need to be able to open up wav and mp3 files and do simple editing tasks like fade ins/outs, eq, and maybe a few effects.
i tried the program audacity, which is free, and i was surprised with how good it was... but then when i export a file as a wav or mp3 and try to burn an audio cd with windows media player i have problems... VLC plays them fine, but then i cant burn them..
so i need either a better freeware editing tool.. or maybe a free "VLC equivalent" of an audio burner software (you know, one that burns anything, like how VLC will play most files that WMP wont...)
ive found out there is no way to keep soundforge working without paying :(
