Computers dumb down students and youth
Yea because the computer does all the math work for the students. Computer does all the spell check for the students. Students can now talk in internet language "lol" "lmao" "brb" "gtg" to other people. Students can now indirectly talk to others without looking at each other's face and hearing each other's voice. Students aren't exercising further dumbing them down.
Just finished reading a little bit on the book "None dare call it education".
Yeah that's true funzone. The important fundamentals in life are being substituted for an easier and no-brainer alternative. I was shocked recently when I discovered a person I know, who is now a primary school teacher, couldn't spell properly. She couldn't spell 'properly' either. Big problem there. But this is happening on many levels very deliberately.
*Take Windows for example, ever since the first release, commands and tasks required to be understood and run before applications are now substituted with point and click. Typing in "msconfig" is a big deal for some people these days.
*Back in the day if a home appliance broke you would take it to get fixed, now you just go and buy a new one or get it replaced. This means less and less people who understand the inner workings of appliances and things.
*More and more people don't cook for themselves. I mean they grab a dinner and stick it in the microwave. I think everyone should make more of an effort to cook for themselves, you'll be suprised what you learn.
*Doctors are prescribing all kinds of rubbish to people so they can get their quick fix. Prevention is better than cure I say. Drink fresh water and eat fresh foods.
