I don't see a scud missle on this list. I always wanted my own scud missle. I would hang it over the mantle.

I read about some nanotech armor recently that sounded almost as amazing as Venom's suit (:spiderman: spiderman). Don't know how practical it would be to make at home in the kitchen though.

How about if I discuss a few booby-traps I've had experience with ( in Viet Nam ) They don't usually kill but can put a person out of action, and they're cheap to build. First one that comes to mind is " the bullet box " Take a block of wood ( or round is fine ) about the size of a 4x4. measure the length of the bullet from back ( primer pocket area ) to the tip of the bullet ( point ) if the total height of the bullet is 3 inches, drill a hole in the top of the block just large enough to slide the bullet into the hole ( the rim ejection lip ) until 1/16th to 1/8th of the bullet ( not including the casing but projectile only ) is still above the top of the block. Next drive a slightly rounded point ( use a file or rough sand paper ) nail ( about a 10-12 penny ) into the base of the block until it is into the casing chamber you drilled and is 1/4 inch showing inside the hole. This is all figured out depending on the size ( length ) of bullet you use. Rim fire are not likely to work. When done right you will have a slightly blunted nail driven into the base of the block..flush to the head, with approx. 1/8th to 1/4th of the bullet sticking above the top of the block. Wrap the block around its circumference with aluminum duct tape, wire, depending on use of metal detectors or their likeliness to be used. If you like this .... I have more JMJ

18" Solar Concentrator - Burning Cardboard |
|
 | | 18" Parabolic solar concentrator burning cardboard. On a clear sunny day it is usually much quicker for items to combust. Should have cleaned the mirrors first also
yes, its a satellite dish with mirrors. They are stuck on with silicon. They stick very well and little prep work is needed to the dishes surface.
I've also converted the LNB (the antenna usually found on the end of the dish) from the dish into a device to heat water. Has 2 Copper tubes entering the sealed LNB, 1 drains into the lower body, 1 drains from the focal area of the feedhorn. |
