I'm an advocate of the Liberty Dollar and the Ithaca Hours. The US govt. mint has come out against the Liberty Dollar. Of course they make the point that only the government can mint coins. And anyone who is into the Liberty Dollar knows that it is NOT a coin.. It is a Liberty Dollar! It is not even a dollar, it is a LIBERTY DOLLAR!
It is not a Federal Reserve Note, since a NOTE is evidence of debt. It is not a dollar BILL, since again, a BILL is evidence of debt.
It is a Certificate, since a ceritificate is evidence of ownership..
I am still hoping the Liberty Dollar organisation will still come out with their gold/silver based debit card.. That will be awsome!
Are there any other Liberty Dollar fans out there??

I don't see how they can stop it. How is it much different from a video game token? It's a bartering instrument. It's not something you can pay your taxes with, and it doesn't represent a debt for the USA.

That's not to say that they won't try. And the more they try, the more the organization must fork out money in order to defend itself -- thereby potentially decreasing the value of all the tokens in circulation.

Download this Video!      faqs      Full Screen

Five Free Staters move to Keene in one week. And speaking of free...one couple gets a virtually free house out of the deal. Free Staters, BTW, are activists who move to New Hampshire for more freedom. This video was shot 11/24/08 and first uploaded 11/28/08

If you would like to commission an ad like the one in this video, the cost as of 10/08 is three cents per video view. But views beyond the 1st week are free, and your link in the video descrip is free as well. Give me a shout through this site, or e-mail me: RidleyReport at... live period com

I love the search bar. I don't know how this escaped me before.

The Liberty Dollar is a private currency embodied in minted metal pieces (referred to as rounds) and gold and silver certificates, and electronic currency . The Liberty Dollar warehouses were raided and the contents confiscated by the FBI and Secret Service on November 15, 2007. The FBI states that this confiscation is intended to prevent people mistaking Liberty Dollars for legal tender. So, I guess, US govt can stop the Liberty Dollar.
