Cannibus does in fact help with stress but... *admin titled |

Cannibus does in fact help with stress but then at the same time it generates a dependency which not only unhealthy but decreases the bodies ability to cope with stress naturally. I and my wife know this from experience. The best way to deal with stress is a good cardiovascular workout. It has been proven that people who are not active have symptoms of stress that are significantly more intense than those who are active. Weed also doesn't help you get off your butt and work out either so I would say it is counter productive.

it doesn't make you dependent if you take it in moderation (exact same thing with chocolate). and the amotivational syndrome thing is total crap... if you responsibly use it (opposed to abuse it), you shouldn't have any real troubles. i myself get very motivated by cannabis... and maybe this is because i mainly go for the cleanest buds, and smoothest highs; but i still say that cannabis in general can make people more turned onto life. it has with me. and exercise is great for stress, but i don't think it's better than cannabis when it comes to issues such as family deaths.

If you guys don't mind, I'd like to weed out the cannabis discussion and make it a seperate thread. I'm hoping for this thread to be a compilation of "cures" not debates. My action would be to start it with Soul Real's post. If you guys are cool with that, let me know and I'll do it and remove this post.
-Thanks!

i'm not cool with that. because i don't agree with what he's saying. and if you don't want debate, his post should be deleted as well. how about i just edit my first post, and then you delete all of these?

I think you misunderstand. I want to move Soul Real's post to it's own thread along with the your post so the debate can be handled there. When I mentioned "delete" I meant it to refer to my own post with the suggestion. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

I hope Soul Real doesn't mind this move. I plan to edit/ delete my own posts concerning the split eventually. I wanted to split it before it became unrepairable. Feel free to rename the topic Soul Real.
I also linked the threads, no original content was changed by the "mod edit:"
on topic:
I'm thinking this qualifies as a treatment and not a cure since cannabis isn't essential, and repeated use would be necessary.

oh, i don't know about that... cannabis can cure a range of things... and in a lot of cases, cannabis is the only thing that really helps people. it's the best general medicine around... i see your point though (i think).

the funniest thing is I agree with Neurine , yet i don't want to sound like i'm promote it
then again, if your tring to stop becouse you do smoke everyday, I would absolutly exercise. Turn that into a routine instead of the cannabis. Good post Soul Real!
